It is IMG_2374no longer a conversation just about ramps to include people of varying and differing abilities.  We need to consider that more people with different needs and different abilities are seeking jobs. becoming self-employed, engaging in recreational opportunities where in the past they were excluded from full participation, they are now contributing to the economic base and want full engagement.

With this in mind, we are encouraging more business, individuals, local and state governments to make every effort for websites to be accessible of all.  We are working with Access Miller, Barrier Free Beach 2020 in coordinating a three hour  training for the City of Gary, Indiana.  Janet Peters of Great Lakes ADA will serve as our trainer.  We shall see where this leads as we continue to stress the importance of Access for All.
